Quick Saturday Post

Hopefully we got on WSU a bit heavier to end the day. Many games on this Saturday so let's get to the top 5 games.

Memphis -16 vs Marshall. Keep playing the roll. They have been shooting the 3 much better, it makes them very likely to beat anyone out of the top 10 by at least 20 points. If we get a few early wins, go heavy here!

UCLA -6 vs WSU. Take the Bruins, they are starting to gel very well, and even though I really like this Cougar team, I think winning two on the Road in LA is just too tough to do. They will get worn down in the waining minutes to lose by 8-14 points.

Marquette -6.5 vs Notre Dame. The Irish have not played much competition yet, a this first real test will be a double digit loss.

UConn +10 vs Georgetown. Take the points in the Rivalry. I am still not sold on the Hoyas, they will miss Jeff Greeene

Kent St -15 vs Bowling Green. My new sleeper of the year will continue to dominate.

USC -6.5 vs Washington. The Huskies will get punished for trying to go up and down with an angry Trojan team. Lay the points, Mayo and Jefferson will combine for 50+ points.

Repeat Performance

B. Anthony will provide you some early games to look at for Thursday.

Washington St. +1 at USC. Good team playing some great Athletes and future pros. Take the boring pick WSU will still be undefeated before they go to Pauley on Saturday. They won't beat UCLA!

VCU -17.5 vs Georgia State. This is a blow-out special!

Oregon St +9.5 vs Stanford. The Beavers get stuffed at Maples, but they always compete well when they are in Corevallis. Go Beavers, take the points, as it may move up to double digits!

Back from the Dead

B. Anthony is back from his hiatus. After several desperation emails and phone calls, I have decided that my other priorities can take a back seat. In case anyone missed it, Memphis has finally started to cover easily during my absence. There are several games out there tonight, and I was too late for one of my favorites, Kent State. If they happen to be close at half-time, I would recommend them in the second half.

Today's Plays.

Memphis- 29 vs East Carolina. Many dunks, and East Carolina wont try to slow it down. The first of many league romps.

Mississippi +9 vs Tennessee. Anti-Pearl pick, but also this is a good Mississippi team that will compete until the end.

Davidson -11 vs Elon. Time to get healthy on some league opponents.

Drake, oops The Drake -10 vs Indiana St. No Bird for the Sycamores, the Drake team is very good at home!

Good Gaming,

B. anthony

Live Update at 6:22pm PST. Money and B. Anthony agree that :

Money’s going with the underdog tonite

One last game in the college football season. Frankly, I am ready to put this sport to bed. The BCS games were horrible. Georgia played the varsity Saint Francis High School team, and the legendary Rose Bowl game was a total bore, unless you took USC and the over in EACH quarter.

I entered four pools and was near the top in most of them but did not finish in the money, so this betting season was a total failure for me. I did beat my 8 year old son though, so it was not a total wash, and Penny made some good money hedging her 8 team parlay.

Tonite I am taking The Ohio State University +3.5. The line is going down, which I don’t like, but I still like OSU. They were embarrassed last year and are in the same situation this year with a 51 day layoff. They do a great defense and running game and Tressel will make the most of these assets to control the game.

Tressel has been giving his team media clips from across the nation bad-mouthing OSU and how they should not be in the title game. Good move. The Buckeyes will play with a chip on their shoulder. In the battle of coaches, I am going with Tressel in this one. Miles is a clown. Plus, LSU is not as good as everyone thinks.

Looking for more action? Tie this game to the NFL playoffs this weekend in a five team parlay

OSU +3.5
SEAHAWKS +8 – Seattle is actually pretty good.
JAGS +13 – The Jaguars are so physical. They will beat up Brady and Maroney.
COLTS -9 – San Diego is overrated. Gates is hurt. Rivers will have to play another great game, which won’t happen against this great Colts defense.
GIANTS +7.5 – I still don’t trust Eli. This is more of an anti-Cowboys bet. They are falling apart now.
