College hoops

Today we have a full day of college hoops with no football interruptions. Here are a few games that caught my eye.

All times PST

Cal +3 vs. Kansas (at Kemper arena). These are not the old Jayhawks, and Cal is a very good team with Powe in the lineup. Omar Wilkes transferred from Kansas to Cal so this will be an interesting game for him.

Texas +4.5 vs. Duke (at East Rutherford NJ). Duke has played well there, but they will not be able to match up with the longhorns. Texas wins and covers.

Gonzaga -8 vs. Oklahoma St (at Key Arena). Gonzaga is one of the best and most balanced teams in the country. Their tough early season matchups will have them well prepared for this matchup vs. OSU.

Nevada pk vs. UCLA (at Anaheim, Ca). UCLA will get their first look at one of the best players in the country, Nick Fazekas.

Note: If you get a chance, watch Memphis play. One of the most young and athletic teams in the country. Incidentally, one of their best players, Rodney Carney, is a senior. Great shooter and leaper.

I like it but you need to be held accountable for your horrible predictions this morning.

Yeah, tough day. These things go in cycles. Right now, I am in a bad one. Thanks for checking out the blog. Do you play any fantasy sports, football baseball etc.
